Wettbewerbs Organisator

Der Organisator und Promoter von diesem Wettbewerbs ist Codemasters Software Company Limited Leamington Spa Warwickshire CV47 2ZT, UK, auch nachstehend genannt "Veranstalter". Die Entscheidungen vom “Veranstalter” und die vom Veranstalter Entscheidungs-Komitee hinsichtlich allen Inhalte bezogen zu diesem Wettbewerb sind Final.

Die Vorraussetzungen

Bevor ihr am Wettbewerb teilnehmt, müsst ihr ihr folgende Information lesen und akzeptieren. Wenn Ihr die Regeln vom Veranstalter-Komitee nicht einhaltet oder diesen zustimmt, wird das beurteilende Komitee diskret denjenigen vom Wettbewerb disqualifizieren und einen alternativen Gewinner von den eingehenden Sendungen auswählen.

Der Wettbewerb ist offen für jeden der die Regel befolgt und innerhalb Grossbritannien, Australien, Spanien, Italien, den Niederlanden, Österreich, Deutschland oder der Schweiz lebt.

Es kann jeweils nur eine (1) Einsendung pro Teilnehmer gesendet werden. Es wird keine Teilnamegebühr verlangt. Der Wettbewerb endet am 31. März 2008 um 12:00 Uhr.

Teilnehmer müssen 18 Jahre oder älter sein.

Gewonnene Teinehmer

Der Gewinner wird vom Veranstalter unter Ausschluss der Öffentlichkeit festgelegt. Spätestens eine Woche nach dem Abschliessen des Wettbewerbs werden die Gewinner im Forum bekanntgegeben.

Bekanntmachung des gewonnnen Eingangs

Der Veranstalter wird den Gewinner im Forum bekanntgeben. Der Gewinner wird per Email benachrichtig. Der Gewinner muss den Gewinn beim Veranstalter innerhalb einer Woche nach den Regeln vom Veranstalter anerkennen, ansonsten wird ein alternativer Teilnehmer aus den Einsendungen bestimmt.

Sollte es dem Veranstalter nicht möglich sein den Gewinner bis zum Ablauf der Frist zu verständigen, oder der Gewinner versäumt es die Qualifikation zu erfüllen, erhält ein alternativer Gewinner den Preis .

Die Teilnehmerdaten werden genutzt um den Gewinner des Wettbewerb auf der Webseite und in den Codemasters Newslettern bekannt zu machen, sofern vom Gewinner keine Einspruch vorliegt, werden die Daten auch für späterer Teilnehmer und Codemasters Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung gestellt. Mit der Teilnehnahme des Wettbewerbs bestätigt ihr, das euer Name oder Ähnlichkeiten, Wohnort, biographisch Informationen, in Werbung oder Promotions in allen Arten von allen Medien nicht Entlohnt oder ohne Nachfragen Zugelassen wird, ausgenommen es ist gesetzlich untersagt.

Intellectual Property Rights

You hereby grant and assign all rights including intellectual property rights generated from or arising as a result of the entry undertaken by you, including but not limited to copyright, rental rights, synchronisation rights, reproduction rights, distribution rights, sound recording rights, trade marks, and all other intellectual property protection wherever in the world enforceable, are hereby assigned by way of future assignment from you to Arranger and thereby shall vest in and be the absolute property of Arranger. For the avoidance of doubt, all rights in and to the name and title of the Competitions or any other proprietary right, including but not limited to the format rights of the Competitions, shall vest exclusively with Arranger.

You agree that you shall execute or cause to be executed all deeds documents and acts (including where necessary ensuring any third party does the same) to vest such intellectual property rights to Arranger.

The Arranger reserves the right to edit entries as necessary in its sole discretion.

You irrevocably and unconditionally waive (and/or where necessary ensure any third party waives) all moral rights in respect of the entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (the “Act”) and under any similar laws in force from time to time. In addition, you hereby give all necessary consent required under Part II of the Act as amended by the Duration of Copyright and Rights in Performances Regulations 1995 and the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 1996 (rights in performances) or any re-enactment or amendment thereto or under the laws of any other jurisdiction of the world to enable Arranger to make the fullest use of the rights granted to Arranger hereunder including without limitation the exploitation of the entry and by any means and in all media, or formats now known or hereafter devised throughout the universe in perpetuity.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arranger against any and all losses arising out of or related to any claim that Arranger’s use of the entry submitted by you or with your consent or any intellectual property rights provided to Arranger by you infringes or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy, or any other rights of any third party,

Furthermore, you warrant that the entry shall not contain anything which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening or that you are not authorised to utilise the same.

General

The Arranger will not engage itself to any communication on the procedural issues or the results of the Competitions.

The Arranger reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time without notice. The Arranger is not required in any way to use any entries in The Lord of the Rings OnlineTM: Shadows of AngmarTM or any other products or services.

Entries and prizes are non-transferrable. By participating you agree that any dispute with regard to the conduct of the Competitions, rule interpretation or award of prizes shall be submitted to the Arranger whose decision shall be final and binding. The Arranger reserves the right to cancel, change, modify or extend any and all aspects of this competition without prior notification to you.

No cash substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes will be allowed. The Arranger accepts no other liability whatsoever that may be caused by any prize awarded to any person in the Competitions.

The Arranger accepts no liability for lost, damaged, misdirected or delayed entries or any technical difficulties affecting the end result of the Competitions or the entry to the Competitions. By participating, you, and the winners, by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release and hold harmless Arranger, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses, which may be sustained directly or indirectly in connection with participation in the Competitions or with the receipt, ownership or use of the prizes or while preparing for, participating in, and/or travelling to any prize-related activity.

The Arranger expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery, subsequent use of the prize awarded and/or while preparing for, participating in, and/or travelling to any prize-related activity. The provisions of this rule may not be applicable in full or in part in some jurisdictions. The liability of the Arranger shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Prizes will be delivered to the winners within 28 days.

Neither the Arranger or its agencies shall not be responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccu¬rate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the sender, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Competitions which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the conduct of the Competitions or in the processing of the entries in the Competitions. If for any reason, (including infec¬tion by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any cause beyond the control of the Arranger, which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Competitions), the Competitions are not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, the Arranger shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competitions.
